Lets say you've got some audio files on your computer that you want to burn to CD to listen to in your CD player.  You don't need to PAY for CD burning software. There are freeware versions that you can use OR you can simply use Windows' built in CD burning feature. Insert a blank CD into your write-capable CD drive. Click open "My Computer", then click open your CD drive window....

Then simply drag and drop the audio files into the CD drive window. Then open "File" and select "Write these files to CD"...

Then the Windows Media Player should appear with your play list of audio files. Then simply click "Copy" and it will burn your CD....
