Amazon.com is more expensive

- Amazon.com has become so popular with Internet shoppers that Amazon now feels perfectly comfortable paying artists only 45% of list price (while pocketing 55% if and when they charge full list price as they often do) AND charging artists a $29.95 per year fee AND asking artists to agree not to sell their CD's (anywhere else) for less than what they are sold on Amazon for! A group of united artists are now making up for Amazon's $29.95 per year fees and their 55% profit margin by raising the prices of Amazon sold CD's a few extra dollars. If consumers are stupid and lazy enough to only shop at Amazon.com instead of comparing prices elsewhere (such as of all places.... the artist's home page!) then maybe they deserve to pay much more. Until Amazon rethinks their exorbitant profit margins consumers will slowly begin to realize that Amazon is more expensive.

UPDATE: We've completely withdrawn from supplying CD's to Amazon. They now have to pay even more from AEC-1 Stop.
