| Just as Jefferson Airplane finished up their opening song, BLADE (wearing the blue tie-dye shirt) invited himself onstage to play bass. The crowd roared with approval but he was quickly escorted back into the crowd. However Blade would later be summoned back onstage by Jimi Hendrix. Blade then performed his now infamous 25 minute bass solo, which drew critical acclaim. |
